I'm a social media marketer looking to work with small businesses. The data below is a case study from @sonaara.app, an Atlanta-based meetup app I run organic social for — focusing on content that makes people show up in person.
Account: @sonaara.app on TikTok. Stats pulled April 2026.
Local Atlanta content, ranked by views. The same approach works for any small business trying to get locals through the door.
A breakdown of the single post that outperformed every other video on the account.
Late November in Atlanta is when everyone is planning things with friends — and noticing who they don't have. I wanted a video that would hit people scrolling alone on a Sunday night, a few days before the actual holiday week.
The first three seconds, the viewer is hit with fun, catchy music and an aesthetically pleasing picture in the background. They would naturally stay and scroll out of curiosity.
I chose to go with a familiar caption — it's a common hook that works. My hashtags were focused on attracting the target audience while helping boost my video.
I deliberately posted the video around 11 PM — I knew that was the peak time for doom scrolling. The video itself was perfect for people to easily send to their friends, further helping boost the video. Naturally, as more people shared, the more people commented, and the more engagement we got.
People are always looking for something new to do, so I showed them what they wanted with the information to go with it.
A word from the people I've worked with.
We were struggling in the 200 view jail before Seyoung joined our team and took over our TikTok. The first video she posted got over one thousand views, then ten thousand, then 200K. It was crazy to see.Dany Hernandez · CEO, Sonaara
Social media for cafés & restaurants — content that makes locals hungry.
Hi, I'm Se Young. For the past year I've been running TikTok for @sonaara.app, a small meetup app based in Atlanta. Through that work, I've seen firsthand how much social media can shape the way a business grows and connects with the people around it.
It also turned into something unexpected for me: a real love for content creation that I want to keep building on. I'd love to bring that to your café or restaurant next.
